Sexuality and Sexual Assault Awareness for Empowerment (S.A.F.E.)
Persons with disabilities are at 1.5 times greater the risk sexual abuse and assault as are members of the general population. This curriculum is designed to assist facilitators in discussing the issues of sexuality, boundaries, sexual assault and empowerment with disabilities. "S.A.F.E." is a valuable weapon in the in the war against sexual violence in the physically disabled community.
