The month of April is known nationally as Sexual Assault
Awareness Month, with April 5th designated as A Day to End Sexual Violence.
In honor of this important month, the Pennsylvania Coalition Against
Rape (PCAR) is engaging community members in the prevention of sexual
violence through a new statewide awareness campaign culminating on Saturday,

On Friday, November 17, 2006,
IABC/Harrisburg recognized the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape
(PCAR) with three awards at its 20th Annual Capital Awards Gala. Awards
were
presented to top displays of writing, design, public relations,
marketing, audiovisual and electronic communications.

Op-Ed: A Travesty of Justice
It is not surprising
that the victim in the “Commonwealth
of Colorado vs. Kobe Bryant” refuses to testify. Vilified
within days after the arrest as Kobe Bryant’s “accuser”,
the victim in this case was slandered, maligned and eviscerated,
not only in the court system that was designed to protect her,
but in the court of public opinion that was used to destroy her.
