YWCA Greater Harrisburg: Mentoring Program Coordinator

The YWCA Greater Harrisburg has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Mentoring Program Coordinator to implement a new youth mentoring program. This new program expands the YWCA’s human trafficking program by providing mentorship to child victims of human trafficking and youth at-risk for trafficking. Primary responsibilities include recruitment and retention of mentors and youth participants, intake and assessment of participants, coordinating structured mentoring activities, providing life skills and social skills education, providing ongoing training and education for mentors, and data collection and reporting.

Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field with two years’ related work experience required. Applicants must demonstrate a proven ability to build relationships and network in the community; excellent verbal and written communication skills; organization and time management; and self-accountability with proven success in meeting goals. Prior experience working with at-risk youth a plus.

Travel within the state is required. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean driving history and proof of insurance. Must have ability to work flexible hours, and provide clearances.
