HARRISBURG—The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape’s Vision of Hope Fund has granted Portland State University professor Keith Kaufman $50K for the second year in a row, to support his research and evaluation of a pilot project to reduce instances of child sexual abuse at youth-serving organizations.

Harrisburg, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape is proud to announce that Michelle Ridge received the Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year at the annual National Philanthropy Day Celebration on Monday, November 16 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel.
The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) through its Vision of Hope project announces a $30,000 grant from Verizon Foundation and Verizon Wireless to provide Internet Safety educational outreach in Cumberland County.
The funding will help the YWCA of Carlisle offer this program to students, parents and educators in the Cumberland Valley and Big Spring School Districts.

Harrisburg, PA–Dr. Wanda Filer was named by former Pennsylvania First Lady Michele M. Ridge to succeed her as the Vision of Hope Advisory Council Chair. First Lady Ridge made the announcement today at its advisory council meeting at the West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill.
Former Vision of Hope Advisory Council Chair, Michele Ridge, will continue to serve as Honorary Chair of the Vision of Hope Gala and Silent Auction.
PCAR is happy to announce that the third edition of the Teen ESTEEM magazine has just been released.
Over 50,000 copies have been shipped to PCAR’s 52 rape crisis centers for distribution in schools, civic organizations and at local events statewide.
The Harrisburg chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A) recently held a rally at the Pennsylvania state capitol rotunda in Harrisburg.
The rally gathered bikers, advocates, community leaders and other supporters to help end child sexual abuse.
